Brewer

Mare Island Brewing Co. in Vallejo seeks an experienced brewer for its 8,000-sq-ft Coal Shed Brewery on the Napa River waterfront. You'll handle wort production on a 15-barrel system and pilot brewhouse, manage cellar work (fermentation, dry hopping, yeast harvesting), oversee packaging on the canning and kegging lines, support quality control and recipe development, and assist with equipment maintenance. Requires 2+ years professional brewing experience, strong mechanical and sensory skills, and the ability to lift up to 165 lbs. Full-time, $20–25/hr depending on experience; benefits include health coverage, 401k, and monthly beer allowance after probation.
